This gerbera was so bright in colour I couldn’t get the look I really wanted, so I removed it all. I then played around with the contrast and a little bit of dodging and burning to get a better look. Hopefully the flower didn’t mind me stripping it of all it’s glorious colour.

This was taken while on holiday in South Wales when we visited the village of Laugharne. There were a few boats scattered around the estuary waiting for the rising tide, hoping to be called into action to wake them from their slumber. I added a slight sepia tone.
